MeroFlow is a local-first planner. This policy explains what the MeroFlow mobile application (“MeroFlow”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) can access, why it needs that access, and how your information is handled.
The short version
MeroFlow does not require an account, does not contain advertising or analytics, and does not sell or share your personal information. Your tasks, lists, countdowns, settings, and voice notes remain on your device unless you choose to move or share them using features provided by your device.
Information you create
The app lets you create tasks, notes, checklists, lists, dates, times, reminders, recurring schedules, countdown events, preferences, and optional voice notes. This content is stored locally on your device. We do not receive it and cannot view or recover it.
Microphone access
MeroFlow asks for microphone permission only when you choose to record a voice note for a task. The recording is saved locally on your device and is used only to let you play that note in the app. MeroFlow does not transmit recordings to us or to third parties. You can deny or revoke microphone permission in your device settings; the rest of the app will continue to work.
Notifications and reminders
If you enable reminders, MeroFlow asks the operating system to schedule notifications on your device. Task and countdown details needed for a reminder are handled locally by the app and your device’s notification service. We do not operate a remote notification server and do not receive your reminder content. You can disable reminders in MeroFlow or revoke notification permission in your device settings.
Information we collect or share
We do not collect personal data, device identifiers, usage data, diagnostics, location, contacts, financial information, or advertising data. We do not share user data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties. The current version of MeroFlow has no account system, cloud sync, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK.
Device services and app stores
Your device platform and the store from which you obtained MeroFlow may independently process technical information under their own terms and privacy policies. Their processing is outside MeroFlow’s control. MeroFlow uses operating-system services only to provide features you request, such as local storage, audio recording, vibration, and notifications.
Security
MeroFlow limits data handling by keeping app content on your device and requesting permissions only for the related feature. Access to that content is also affected by your device security, backups, and operating-system settings. No method of storage is completely risk-free, so we recommend using a screen lock and keeping your device software current.
Retention and deletion
Your content remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall MeroFlow. Deleted tasks may remain in the app’s Recently Deleted area until you remove them permanently or clear app data. Voice notes are removed when the associated local item is permanently deleted. Because we do not receive or hold your app content, we cannot delete or restore it on your behalf.
Children’s privacy
MeroFlow is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users. If you believe this policy does not reflect the app’s behavior, please contact us.
International use
MeroFlow can be used in different countries, but the app content described in this policy stays on the user’s device. We do not transfer that content to our servers.
Changes to this policy
If MeroFlow’s data practices change, we will update this page, revise the effective date, and make any additional disclosures or request any consent required by law or platform policy before the new practice applies.
